I mentioned about Candra Malik’s Mustika Naga the novel earlier. The book was officially release yesterday, and available on major book store in Indonesia.

My painting will be publish as Candra Malik‘s book cover. According to the KPG‘s website, it will officially publish on July 6, 2015.

Candra Malik known famously in Indonesia as a poet, sufi, journalist and essayist. He have a broad knowledge about Islamic literature and philosophy and it was fun working with him. Well, i said enough, please do search about him, he is all over the net.

I got wait until the book on the public, so i can’t show you the artwork now. Let’s wait until Monday. The painting will be post here on Be Illustrated’s blogs, and Deviant Art (of course, who doesn’t?)

See you on Monday, friends. Got to create something now. I have got to prepare a lot of paintings, for next years exhibition (if it won’t miss, i have tendency to ruin everything. eh)

Selamat Pagi

Dia selalu mencintai pagi yang tenang
Setelah malam yang hingar bingar
Setelah otak membatu
Dan entah keberapa kali muntah
Dia benar-benar butuh sepi itu

“Selamat pagi…” bisiknya
Tapi tidak ada siapapun di kamar itu
Hening, bahkan deru kesibukan pagi tak terdengar
Dia ada di tempat yang terlalu tinggi
Untuk mereka yang harus berkeringat sepagi itu

Pagi itu yang tersisa hanya pening sisa semalam
Juga aroma tubuh lelaki yang meninggalkannya
Setelah dia tertidur semalam
Beserta catatan di atas meja,
Segepok uang dan setangkai mawar
 
         “Selamat pagi, Dear
         Dua hari lagi bertemu di tempat yang sama, oke?”

“Hey, i can be soft too. I am not always dark and gloomy.”
That was my answer to my  friend when she was asking about a sudden colors mood’s change in my illustrations.
In fact, drawing the children’s illustration made my mood stayed happy and soft, and I love doing it.

I think it’s about time for me to show my illustration for a children’s book.
Actually there are 19 illustrations, but i can’t show all of them, yet. I am still waiting for the author’s permission to show the rest of my illustrations i made for her book.

Lukisan usang
Potret berjamur
Ranting kering dan patah
Cermin yang berkeping
Tai tikus
Pesing bau kencing kucing
Seperti inilah rupanya
Kenangan
Menjadi warna-warna
Yang tak pernah selesai

Mungkin sudah waktunya
Satu cerita ditamatkan

Atau

Sudah waktunya hatiku
Yang harus dikosongkan
